All that wait for 8 rows. That's heartbreaking. It *is* gorgeous, you know.
Posted by Beth at March 1, 2006 7:22 PMThe sweater I knit for my husband had to have an additional skein ordered simply so I'd have enough yarn to stitch it up.
The sweater looks gorgeous. I've never done colorwork so I'm quite impressed with your skills.... and envious.
Posted by Kris at March 1, 2006 10:53 PMBeautiful! I can't wait to see Anne Boleyn either!
I love that pattern! (As well as just about everything else that AS designed)!
Brave woman! You have almost convinced me to jump into colorwork!
Posted by Leah at March 1, 2006 11:14 PMGlad the yarn finally arrived. Shetland wool is great for your first steeking/cutting. Those stitches grip and don't go anywhere. Still I'm a wooz and make steeks of 8-12 stitches in width so I don't have to take any chances. I can't wait to see the Anne Bolyn sweater. I love anything AS designs so it's hard to stick to getting and knitting one project. I'm like the kid in the candy store who wants this, that and the other thing all at the same time. How could anyone be bored with so many beautiful things out there to knit! Glad you got the mittens knit since we're back to the cold and the wet.
