Enlighten me please. I've never heard of "swing needles". Are they just really long knitting needles? Help. Me confused.

Very handy, you are! I have trouble knitting anything with one ball of yarn attached to it, much less two. This has all the earmarks of a knitting project that would attract cats like crazy.
