I was looking at some other knitters' work in the glove KAL the other day - yours look great. And the clogs improved greatly with felting. Gotta admit that I wasn't so sure with the 'before' pictures. :)

I have to laugh at you using the term "clownish" while describing large bright pink slippers with sequins all over them. Just saying.
And I'll bet Stanley wouldn't be much good with the martinis, either.
